after our day trip to the Floating Market and Rose Garden,we asked our taxi driver to drop us at another seafood restaurant for dinner.truth be told,it was exceptionally earlier for dinner.at that time it was only almost 4 pm.due to a very bad jam,we got there just around 6.since all our stomachs were making noises, early also nevermind.
anyway, while we were stuck in the jam,we saw another huge monitor lizard trying to squeeze itself into the fence surrounding the palace.it was quite fasinating watching it squeezing in.me and my brothers was cheering "wah wah..abit more can already".in the end,the monitor lizard manage to squeeze itself through.maybe he wants to pay the king a visit and wish him a happy belated birthday:).based on what our taxi driver said,it seems there's a procession going on.that's what causing the massive jam.
this was the seafood restaurant we went to.Kuang Seafood
Thailand's famous tomyam.very yummy.
Mr Taxi Driver,Ah Chai with my jeeko.
next we walk all the way to the night market.i'm not sure whether we've seen all the things there but there's nothing much there.most of the things sold were clothings.it's very cheap though.
we even pass by these stalls selling food.
this stall caught my attention.they're selling fried grasshoppers(thats what i think it is).as you know...i'm a big chicken,so i didn't dare try it.
later on we went back to the hotel to bath and rest for awhile.we took a tuk-tuk back.the tuk-tuk guy was so ganas.the way he drives was so scary it makes you feel as though you might fall off the tuk-tuk but it was fun.while the tuk-tuk guy was zooming away,i saw two elephants(with some guys of course)on the road.
me and my parents in the tuk-tuk.
my grandma decided to go for a massage.so we left her at one of the massage shop and we go jalan-jalan.again,we went to 7 Eleven to buy some buns and water.time to eat again.my two brothers can't wait to taste another one of Thailand's delicacies,Pad Thai again(they ate it before).Pad Thai is just like char kuey teow except they add sugar in it making it sweet.
the man frying the Pad Thai.
Pad Thai.
while eating, suddenly i saw something black at the corner of mu eyes.when i look up i saw the same elephant just now on the road just behind my brother.didn't know why nobody realise it until i told my brother"ko,there's an elephant right behind you"
you should see his reaction.immediately he WHOA!!!.the guy..hmmm...i should call him the 'penjaga' then tried to ask us to buy some sugarcane for the elephant.the elephant kept bugging my mom led her to buy a packet.in the end me and my mom fed the elephant.too bad that i didn't get a picture of me feeding the elephant.my brother said i fed to fast.haihz.the cute thing was, after we finished the whole packet,he(the elephant that is) kept on tapping my mom's shoulder.my mom was so scared that he suddenly go berserk and smack her with his trunk.hahaha.finally the penjaga have to drag him away.the elephant even said thank you.well..it souns more like 2 barks or the elephant sound.i know elephants are suppose to trumpet or something like that but the way it said thank you sounds more like a bark.

Rose Garden-Thai Cultural Village
Rose Garden.it's more like a Thai Cultural Village than a rose garden.there's more orchids than roses there.basically over here wasn't that fun fun compared to Floating Market.though sitting on an elephant was fun.yeap..i sat on an elephant.i even say elephant dunk on the floor.i wanted to take a photo of the elephant dunk but too bad my camera wasn't wif me when i sat on the elephant.
before the cultural show started, there was an elephant show.OMG...the elphants were so cute.especially the small one.one of the acts was to walk over to guys.the way the small elephant walk over is sooo cute.the legs were like computerised already.when the front leg goes up,the back legs also goes up.it's just so cute.the other larger elephant can even pick up a coin with its trunk.my favourite part of the show was the dancing part.the smaller elephant was dancing with a hula hoop with one leg up,shaking while the bigger one just lift up one leg and shake.they were so cute.
time for the cultural show.first up,takraw act.it wasn't really that nice.i was expecting him to kick the ball but instead he just balance it all on his body.
most of the acts were pretty boring.the only exciting ones were the Thai boxing, the Bamboo dance and the sword fighting.the Thai boxing was hilarious.they acted as though they were really in a competition.just like normal boxing, when it's time for the break, their coach will give them some pointers, they'll drink some water and their assistand will massage them sometimes.thai boxing's the same.the way the assistant was massaging him it's like trying to break his neck.that was so funny.the only thing different about thai boxing compared to the normal boxing is that Thai boxing can use any parts of your body like your elbow and legs.at the end of the Thai boxing act,the two boxers punched the referee.all the audience laughed at that part.
Bamboo dance was the best.well i don't really know how to explain it so i just put the pictures.
the rest were boring.can't really remember all of it because i didn't really pay attention.all i know there's something about the wedding tradition, harvest dance when the rain comes, the Nagee Saran Dance performed to the Water Spirits and many more.
Flag Dance as the finale.

DAY 2 in Bangkok
our second day in bangkok was fun.
morning call was 7 am.after all of us got ready we head down to the restaurant for breakfast buffet.then off we go to the famous Floating Market.our taxi is a Mercedes wan.it was so comfy me and my brother slept in the car on the way to our destination.
siting on the boat was fun.the only thing that bugs me was the water splashing my face and hands.to add on,the water is so dirty.
we even got free coconut.the coconut is so small and cute compared to the ones here.
on the boat.when you get on the boat it's so wobbly...feels like it's going to overturn.
puppets for sale at one of the stalls.
huge monitor lizard we saw.
there were so many sampans selling fruits, food and veges.most of the sellers are old man and lady.
a lady making cocnut pancakes.very yummy.
my brother eating the coconut pancakes.
our boat 'driver' later brought us to this deserted place.at first we were wondering why there were no other boats here.then we found out that not all boats came this way.the reason he row us there was to feed the fishes there.he even treat us to two bags of fish food.it seems that this fishes here cannot be eaten because it belongs to the temple which we passed.the fishes was so jumpy.each time we poured the food it'll jump and splash the dirty water towards us.ugh.
me feeding the fishes.
some of the houses we passed by.
we even passed by a barber shop and took this picture of a guy getting a haircut.they even have a barber shop in floating market.lol
this is another house.look at the flowers.this flowers made my grandndparents and my mom go crazy.they were like "wah the flowers are so packed.how nice our flowers can be like that...etc."
a guy sitting on a float.
our next stop was Rose Garden which is a Thai Cultural Village.check out my next post.

stories from Bangkok
i just came back yesterday night so right now i'm writing(more likely typing) about my trip in bangkok.i'll be writing based on each day,so this blog will be about my first day in bangkok.
DAY 1
i'll just start by saying that our flight was delayed and we arrived later than we expected.by the time we arrived Bangkok its already around 10pm local time(malaysia time 11pm).on the way to the airport i can't help but notice there's so many cabs and their highways are way better than Malaysia's.you can see all the elevated highway overlaping each other it's so cool.
our first stop was,of course, the hotel.throughout the trip we stayed in Asia Hotel.my first impression of the hotel was...WOW! though the deco looks abit old fashion but its super nice.there's shops in the hotel.most of it are tailor shops and its connected to the LRT station.
this is a picture of a towel folded into an elephant.cute isn't it.
the beds
after we put all our luggages into the hotel rooms,we went to a seafood restaurant for dinner.the food there is very very expensive and it's not to say that nice except maybe for the fried chicken and the green curry.the rest was horrible.
later we went to 7 Eleven to buy water and some buns for our journey to Floting Market the next day.you can't believe how many 7 Elevens they have here.everywhere you go there's one.it's like there's one at this end of the road and another just opposite.
finally,off to bed.*snores*
other pictures

night view of...don't know where.. from the plane.
