1 Litre of Tears

1 Litre of tears...seen this show before???
this japanese drama tells the true story about a 15 year old girl who had this incurable disease in which she will slowly be unable to walk, talk and eat properly.under the recommendation of her doctor, she wrote a diary about her ups and downs in her life from the day she had this disease till the day she died.this diary is then published and sold over millions of copy.

if i'm not mistaken this show was aired on 8tv and recently just finished.well,i didn't watch it on tv instead i watch it on my computer.
1 litre of tears...as you've guessed from the title, is a very sad story.it shows how this girl after hearing the news that she has this incurable disease still goes on with her life and staying strong.with all the people staring at her and talking about her she still can put on a smiling face and act as if nothing is wrong.

watching this show makes me envy her.not many people can be so strong like her if they knew they won't be able to walk and talk like other people.i think the whole time i watched this show i've been crying 1 litre of tears.hehehe.right now my eyes are all swollen from crying.this is the first time i cried so much watching a show.

though it's sad, this drama is very nice and touching.for those who are planning to watch this show, make sure you have a box of tissue next to you.you'll be needing it.

Day Trip to Malacca

5 years ago,i went to Malacca to visit my cousin who was working there.5 years later, which is now(Sunday) i'm back again.only this time me and my family when there for a day trip.this trip was actually a last minute plan.after hearing that my grandmother never been to Malacca before,my father suggested"hey why not go tomorrow since it's a holiday".so the next day,off we go to Malacca.

time of departure: 9am-we actually wanted to leave earlier but since everyone is
still sleeping soundly,my dad let us sleep a little while
longer
time of arrival: 10.15am
we took another half an hour to drive up to this place to meet with my brother's friend (who was very kind to agree to be our "tour guide" for the trip).can't believe that there were so many traffic lights along the road.i even counted how many traffic lights....there were 16(if i'm not mistaken).i think i also lost count and the frustrating thing is for every traffic light,we have to stop.

first stop...brunch at Tau Hoo Lee.a sort of yong tau foo shop with noodles.

it doesn't look really nice but the taste is quite okay.

after our brunch,we went to Mahkota Parade and Dataran Pahlawan then we walked to A-Famosa.there's this fountain at Dataran Pahlawan that's very cool.around the fountain there's this wall with pictures(not exaxtly)of the history of Malacca.

i'm not relly sure who is that but i think it's hang tuah

walking all the way to the A-Famosa and Stadhuys was very tiring.the weather was also so hot.At A-Famosa,you can have a chance to take a picture with an iguana for RM3.i thought of taking a picture but i ended up being a chicken instead.oh yeah...i even sat on a trishaw.the trishaw pedaller was very friendly, showing us the pokok melaka and other stuffs along the way.can you believe that he's 66 years old and he still has the enrgy to pedal the trishaw???imagine if he had a customer who happen to be a super huge guy.must be very tiring!!!

family picture.

okay,i'm going to cut short on the details because this blog is already so long.so basically after that we went to a temple.

later on, we decided to try the famous satay celup for dinner.unfortunately, the queue was super long.since all of us are a little hungry, moreover the queue was so long it'll be hours waiting for a place to sit.we went to this place which is situated opposite Hang Li Poh's well (or domething l ike that).the food there was superb.and it was very cheap too.

some of the dishes we ordered.doesn't look good but it sure tastes good.

after dinner it's off to jonker street.by the time we arrived there it started to drizzle a little.luckily for us,it stopped later.there's nothing much over there.just alot of jewellery stalls and 'makan' stalls.

jonker street was the last place we visited during the trip.by the time we arrived there, it's already midnight.everyone also KO already.
to sum it all up,all i can say is it's been a splendid day trip but a little tiring.hehe

Buffet dinner at Istana Hotel

Day before yesterday(that is Saturday),my eldest brother treated my whole family to a a buffet dinner at Istana Hotel.the reason i'm only writing this blog now is because by the time i came back home from the dinner i was so sleepy already so i went straight to bed and yesterday i was out the whole day(u will find out where i've been in the next post).

the buffet dinner was great with lots of variety like japanese, western, local food etc.my favourite dish was the spaghetti with cream sauce and the dessert strawberry with chocolate(from the chocolate fountain)

as you know, the only thing we do when we're at a buffet dinner is eat.so,i eat and eat until my tummy also bloated up.after that it's picture time.here's some of the pictures.

Cheers everyone!!!

i even played on a grand piano for like less than a minute.later i got chased away by the waitress.hehehe.

after pmr

this is just another lame blog for those who care to read.

the weekend right after PMR is so boring.i've already finish reading a book i borrowed from my school library.the book is about werewolves and a sort of forbidden love.afterall....the book is just OK only for me.i've also bought some new books.it's a series called seven deadly sins.so there's seven books, lust, envy, pride, wrath, sloth, greed and gluttony.i've bought the first few books.i just hope it's nice otherwise i've just made a bad investment...lol

confession:i know this is a lame blog....but what to do???i don't know what to write already.nothing much has happen this two days.you'll just have to make do with it

IT'S ALL OVER!!!

finally PMR is all over.can start reading my books already.YIPPEEE!!!can't believe i'm saying i miss my story books...what a book freak.hehe

anyway....PMR was what i say OK only.Surprised that science was quite difficult, mathematics was easy and sejarah was s*upid.i admit that i don't expect to get straight As with me always missing school but after doing all the papers, i'm really without confidence.haihz.

but who cares..there's nothing i can do now.now it's time to enjoy as much as we can...by the time we're in form 4, we'll be very busy.

ok.this is a message one of my friends sent to me before the exam started which i find it interesting:
"9.30am,5 October 2007.Tarikh bersejarah yang tidak dicatat dalam buku teks, bagi semua penduduk Tingkatan 3.Bendera Penjajahan PMR akan diturunkan bermakna kami telah berjaya memperoloeh kebebasan.Darurat "duduk rumah study"akan dibubarkan.
Perjuangan bermati-matian Dato Seri 'own name' akan sentiasa dihargai.untuk sekaran good luck dan god bless untuk Perang PMR"

the person who created this message must be reading too much of sejarah already but i'll have to admit that this person is very creative.
