Day Trip to Malacca

5 years ago,i went to Malacca to visit my cousin who was working there.5 years later, which is now(Sunday) i'm back again.only this time me and my family when there for a day trip.this trip was actually a last minute plan.after hearing that my grandmother never been to Malacca before,my father suggested"hey why not go tomorrow since it's a holiday".so the next day,off we go to Malacca.

time of departure: 9am-we actually wanted to leave earlier but since everyone is
still sleeping soundly,my dad let us sleep a little while
longer
time of arrival: 10.15am
we took another half an hour to drive up to this place to meet with my brother's friend (who was very kind to agree to be our "tour guide" for the trip).can't believe that there were so many traffic lights along the road.i even counted how many traffic lights....there were 16(if i'm not mistaken).i think i also lost count and the frustrating thing is for every traffic light,we have to stop.

first stop...brunch at Tau Hoo Lee.a sort of yong tau foo shop with noodles.

it doesn't look really nice but the taste is quite okay.

after our brunch,we went to Mahkota Parade and Dataran Pahlawan then we walked to A-Famosa.there's this fountain at Dataran Pahlawan that's very cool.around the fountain there's this wall with pictures(not exaxtly)of the history of Malacca.

i'm not relly sure who is that but i think it's hang tuah

walking all the way to the A-Famosa and Stadhuys was very tiring.the weather was also so hot.At A-Famosa,you can have a chance to take a picture with an iguana for RM3.i thought of taking a picture but i ended up being a chicken instead.oh yeah...i even sat on a trishaw.the trishaw pedaller was very friendly, showing us the pokok melaka and other stuffs along the way.can you believe that he's 66 years old and he still has the enrgy to pedal the trishaw???imagine if he had a customer who happen to be a super huge guy.must be very tiring!!!

okay,i'm going to cut short on the details because this blog is already so long.so basically after that we went to a temple.

later on, we decided to try the famous satay celup for dinner.unfortunately, the queue was super long.since all of us are a little hungry, moreover the queue was so long it'll be hours waiting for a place to sit.we went to this place which is situated opposite Hang Li Poh's well (or domething l ike that).the food there was superb.and it was very cheap too.

some of the dishes we ordered.doesn't look good but it sure tastes good.

after dinner it's off to jonker street.by the time we arrived there it started to drizzle a little.luckily for us,it stopped later.there's nothing much over there.just alot of jewellery stalls and 'makan' stalls.

jonker street was the last place we visited during the trip.by the time we arrived there, it's already midnight.everyone also KO already.
to sum it all up,all i can say is it's been a splendid day trip but a little tiring.hehe
